The Foundation would like to congratulate Dr. Zheng for being recognized with the 2017 Research Innovation in Scientific Excellence (RISE) Award form the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB). More about the award here. Dr. Zheng began an Answering TTP Foundation funded research project entitled "The Role of Complement Factor H Abnormality in Pathogenesis of Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura" in 2014.
