2018 International TTP Day participant fundraising directly impacts the Foundation's ability to provide ground breaking research funding. The Foundation is excited to announce funding of a new research grant entitled Profiling of T cells in patients with acquired TTP. The investigation will provide more insight into events that trigger the development of auto‐antibodies in previously healthy individuals. In addition, further study will investigate what causes relapses in patients with acquired TTP. This new grant brings the Foundation's commitment to research to over $1.8 million through 2020.
