On Thursday November 21, the Ohio State University TTP & aHUS offered a virtual and in-person support group.
Dr Cataland started his session by answering questions. Individuals that had joined virtually were able to email their questions. Some of the highlights from the meeting included explaining the role of ADAMTS13 and TTP. Dr. Cataland also talked about the positive news regarding the new drug: caplacizumab.
A three day meeting in North Carolina is being planned for the summer of 2020. More details to follow.
